The 153 Words of God

“Dust” = God’s Atoms and Particles. Man is made from this “Dust of the Earth”. God Shapes and Molds His “Dust” (Men & Women) like a Potter making a Clay Pot or Vessel.

dust-man-earth-genesis-2-7

In the Bible, “Dust” is symbolic of the atoms, elements and particles that God makes His Creation with. He makes man from the “Dust of the Ground”. See Genesis 2:7

Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

God is like a “Potter” who shapes and molds this “Dust” (men and women) like making a pots and vessels of Clay on a potter’s wheel.

Romans 9:21
Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?

Jesus was Made from the Dust of the Earth and was Sent by God to Reveal God’s Holy Words and to Testify of them.

We are all to Learn, Teach and Do the Ways of God’s Holy Words to Overcome EVIL in this World and Build God’s Kingdom on Earth.

Read John 9:1-12 below and see how Jesus gave the blind man his sight. Notice that being “blind” is also symbolic of NOT seeing God’s Holy Words. But, verses clearly reveal that Jesus is the Word of God and that Jesus was sent to reveal God’s Holy and Supernatural Words.

Jesus Christ is the “Word of God” (Revelation 19:13) and He was sent by God to reveal and testify to God’s Holy Words (see Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 18:37, Psalm 119:160, John 17:17-19, John 6:68, Luke 24:44-45, John 21:11 & John 8:42-47).

John 9:1-12 – A Man Born Blind Receives Sight
9 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

8 Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”

9 Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.”

He said, “I am he.”

10 Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?”

11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.”

12 Then they said to him, “Where is He?”

He said, “I do not know.”

In Matthew 4:19 and Mark 1:17 Jesus told us to be “Fishers of Men”. So, you are Sent to Go out and Follow Jesus by spreading the “Good News” about God’s Holy Words and Ways.

Just like how the man was sent to the “Pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”) to wash to receive his sight, you can be Baptized in Water. God wants His people to follow Him in Spirit and Truth so you can Ask for the Holy Spirit by praying and reciting Proverbs 1:23 and John 14:15-17 and Learning, Teaching and Doing the Ways of God’s Holy Words.

If they do not “See” the “Good News” you can pray and Ask Jesus to remove any unclean spirits (like the “Deaf and Dumb” Spirit) so they “See”.

You can also anoint their eyes with Bentonite Clay to help them to “See”.

Shake the Dust from Your Feet

dust-shake-the-dust-off-your-feet

Consider why it is that the Lord says that when you go to a place where He sends you with the Word and they reject the message that they are to take then shake the dust from your feet.

Why?

Because the “dust” (the atoms, elements and particles God makes His Creation with) are all accounted for and the placement of them and their works are known every second by God. They will testify that they were cast off of your feet because the work of bearing witness to God’s Words as Jesus was sent to bear witness of, were rejected in that house or city. You are known in heaven and all your particles testify of you. (Source: Floyd Taylor)

Matthew 10:14
And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Action Steps:

  • Learn the 153 Words of God;
  • Teach them to your children, flock and others;
  • Do the Ways of the Words of God to overcome evil and bring forth God’s Kingdom of Heaven.

“Feast” = Appointed Day for Food (Knowledge of God & His Holy Words) and Wisdom of God’s Master Plan for His Bride

feast-vineyard-lights

A “feast” is a huge, delicious meal with Food that is served for a celebration. Having a feast is to entertain with sumptuous provisions; to treat at the table magnificently; as, he was feasted by the King. To delight; to pamper; to gratify luxuriously; as, to feast the soul.

A ceremony of feasting is done with joy and thanksgiving on stated days, in commemoration of some great event, or in honor of some distinguished personage; an anniversary, periodical or stated celebration of some event; a festival; as on the Feast of the Passover, the Feast of Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles among the Israelites. (Source)

A Spiritual “Feast” is a huge, delicious soul-filling meal with Spiritual “Food” and “Fish” which includes the Knowledge of Truth and God’s Holy Words.

God wants us to attend His Feast for the Wedding of His Son Jesus with the Bride of Christ. But, to get in the door we must first put on the proper attire. We must put on our “Garment” which is the Knowledge of Truth which are God’s Holy Words and Ways.  See the Parable of the Wedding Feast.

The “Parable of the Wedding Feast” (see Matthew 22:1-14)
22 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Do NOT get caught WITHOUT the proper Garment for the Big Feast!!!

bride-garment

Notice the man was “Speechless” because he did not know the Pure Language of the Kingdom of Heaven. He had NOT put on his “Garment” which is the Knowledge of Truth which are God’s Holy Words and Ways.

Leviticus 23 describes the Sabbath day and the 7 Feasts of the Lord:

  1. Passover
  2. Unleavened Bread
  3. Firstfruits
  4. Pentecost
  5. the Feast of Trumpets
  6. Day of Atonement (aka “Yom Kippur”)
  7. Feast of Tabernacles

These are not the Feasts only for the Jews.

These are the Feasts of the Lord and they are for ALL God’s people!

Jesus (“Yeshua”) observed the Feast Days, and so did Joseph, Mary, the disciples and Paul. They’re still doing so in Heaven! Each of these Feast Days has a lesson included with them, so the Lord said that they are to be “a statute forever throughout your generations” (Leviticus 23:14,21, 31, 41; Exodus 12:14,17). So, if we truly Follow Jesus… we observe the Feast Days too.  So, have a Fish Feast and Celebrate! 🙂

Fulfillment: The Holy Spirit came down from Heaven (see Acts 2:1-4).

What to do: Receive God’s Holy Spirit (See Proverbs 1:23 & John 14:15-17) and God’s Holy Words so your life will increase (be leavened) in holiness as you become His bride.)

“Foundation” = God’s Holy Words. Build Your House and Church on the Firm Foundation of God’s Holy Words

foundation-house-stone

A “Foundation” for your House is a stone structure that supports the building for ensuring strong structural integrity.

The “Foundation” for your Body, Temple and the Body of Christ is the “Stone” or “Rock” which ensures rock-solid strong integrity.

Being a Believer (and/or a Church) who is Following Jesus is often compared a house , storehouseor building constructed on a firm foundation of stone… with Jesus Christ being that precious cornerstone.

God’s Holy Words are “Supernatural” (all Creation was made by God’s Word) so imagine your house, body and church being rock-solid strong and protected from attack because of the presence of Almighty God. This is what happens when we Learn, Teach and Do the Ways of God’s Holy Words to bring forth the Kingdom of Heaven and to overcome EVIL in the world.

Do you have God’s Holy Words as the “firm foundation” of your House, Body and Church?

If NOT, then get them! 🙂

Build your House’s Foundation on the Rock:

Isaiah 28:16 – A Cornerstone in Zion
16 Therefore thus says the Lord God:

“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,
A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;
Whoever believes will not act hastily.

1 Corinthians 3:11
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:48
He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

Ephesians 2:20
having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

Lay your Temple’s Foundation on Stone:

1 Kings 5:17
And the king commanded them to quarry large stones, costly stones, and hewn stones, to lay the foundation of the temple.

1 Kings 7:9
All these were of costly stones cut to size, trimmed with saws, inside and out, from the foundation to the eaves, and also on the outside to the great court.

1 Kings 7:10
The foundation was of costly stones, large stones, some ten cubits and some eight cubits.

Isaiah 28:16 – A Cornerstone in Zion
Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.

Isaiah 54:11
“O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires.

Micah 1:6
“Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of ruins in the field, Places for planting a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And I will uncover her foundations.

1 Corinthians 3:12
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,

Ephesians 2:20
having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

Revelation 21:19
The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,

“Garden” = Supply

garden-raised-bed

A Garden is your source of Supply. It’s a supply of Food including Herbs and Fruit etc.

The Garden of Eden:

Where the Wrong Source of Supply was Chosen

Adam and Eve got thrown out of the Garden of Eden because they were tricked by the devil (serpent) into eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They ate “Food” from the WRONG source!

tree-garden-of-eden

Then the earth was then cursed and God’s promise of their bodies having Eternal Life was removed. This happened because they did NOT trust God and rebelled against Him by listening and acting upon upon what the devil told them. Since then we have had pain, suffering, death and evil rulers lording over us hoarding the supply of the Earth’s resources.

Today we have the “Flood of the Dragon” (Revelation 12) where the devil (and his minions) including the BEAST SYSTEM (Governments and kings and queens of the earth) are spewing out evil, lies, poison and wars with the sole purpose of eliminating us and taking EVERYTHING for themselves. Their “Final Solution” is for satan to rule over the Earth, people and even ALL Creation.

Action Step:

Be of Good Cheer and Return to the “Garden of Eden”

Get OUT of the “devil’s garden” by throwing away the devil as your supply and source of words and ways. Return to the “Garden of Eden” by using God’s Holy Words and Ways including:

  • God’s Holy Words
  • God’s Ways & Laws
  • God’s Calendar (the Lunar/Solar Calendar)
  • God’s Feast Days
  • Etc.

“Give” = To Gift, Tithe. Freely Give and Freely You Will Receive!

give

To “Give” and Acts of “Giving” are God’s Way to an Abundant Life for ALL People.

The Bible is clear that we are to give generously… and then we all will receive.

For example, in Exodus 35 we see Israelites all generously giving the materials and time needed to build the tabernacle (cover/tent). If any of them decided to withhold the money, materials or skills they had, the tabernacle would NOT have been built!

Then, in Malachi 3:10-12 giving is the one thing God is telling us to test him in.

In fact, He tells us He will open the windows of heaven and pour out such a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it!

Here are those verses:

Malachi 3:10-12
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the Lord of hosts;
12 “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

Why does God tell you to Give by Tithing?

give-firstfruits

Tithing is specifically mentioned in the Books of Genesis, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy (See Genesis 14:19-20, Genesis 28:20-22, Leviticus 27:30-34, Numbers 18:21 & 26, Deuteronomy 12:5-6, Deuteronomy 14:22 & 28-29, etc.)

Tithing is a way of blessing others while God blesses you. See Proverbs 2:9-10

Proverbs 3:9-10
9 Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
10 So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

What happens when we DO NOT Give and Tithe?

You get THIS!  —>

give-poor-vs-rich

We live in a world that is permeated with mishandling of money and resources.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. (BOTH physically AND spiritually)

The “Supernatural Keys” to breaking free from these destructive cycles is… Tithing!

Why?

Because Tithing ensures there’s enough for everyone… even the poor.

Tithing helps you navigate through the dangerous channels between 2 evil forces: Poverty and Mammon.

  • Poverty is the state of being poor, being in want or lack. It’s the state of never having enough to get what you truly need and for covering your expenses… because you’re NOT worth it and NOT as deserving as others. It’s the “paycheck to paycheck” lifestyle that leaves you always unfulfilled.
  • Mammon is where you worship money (and/or “stuff”) and just cannot get enough of it. Mammon tricks you into manipulating anyone to get more money and power and/or simply going into debt to get more stuff… because you ARE worth it because you think you’re better than others. (See the NWO players.)

give-poor-vs-rich2

So, what is the solution for avoiding these two EVILS?

The solution is to love people and use money to help people.

This is exactly WHY God tells us to Give and Tithe!  It’s the Law!

We tithe because when we do so, we are being like God. When more and more of us become like God and Give, Tithe and do Good Works for others, then the “BEAST SYSTEM” of money slavery and work, work, work from 9-5 for the rest of our lives simply… ENDS!

This is when we have real freedom as individuals, cities and nations. Plus, tithing is very enjoyable! While you’re giving your “firstfruits” you’ll be watching the world around you turn into a richer, better, happier place. You can actually see it in real-time.

Imagine a world where the people go from being over-taxed debt-slaves and surfs (tenants) to wealthy land-owners who are being shrewd stewards of their land and resources and also helping others in need by giving to the poor.

Imagine cities transformed from soul-less CORPORATE “Concrete Jungles” to vibrant beautiful, bountiful gardens filled with amazing people who are full of love and light and joy!

This is why Giving and Tithing are so important!

Even If you do not think you have enough money to give, then simply start by tithing resources like your skills and talents. Then watch your life transform from dull and boring to fun and exciting.

city-vibrant

Jesus Christ is the Model “Giver”:

God himself gave us His only Son because He loves us so much. Jesus gave everything and died on a cross for us. Jesus’ Giving is the “Sweet Smell” to God. See Ephesians 5:2:

Ephesians 5:2
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Jesus Christ who is the “Word of God” (Revelation 19:13) and was sent by God to reveal and testify to God’s Holy Words (see Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 18:37, Psalm 119:160, John 17:17-19, John 6:68, Luke 24:44-45, John 21:11 & John 8:42-47).

God’s Holy Words are “Supernatural” so imagine turning the volume of your Giving up to a new level. This is what happens when we use God’s Holy Words with our Giving and Tithing. When we Learn, Teach and Do the Ways of God’s Holy Words to bring forth the Kingdom of Heaven and to overcome EVIL in the world we transform the world from a dry, lonely “Desert” into a beautiful “Garden”!

Jesus shows us a model of giving and generosity that we should do for others.

Matthew 6:19-21 – Lay Up Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Mark 12:41-44 – The Widow’s Two Mites
41 Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. 42 Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. 43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Luke 11:13
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Acts 20:35
35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

1 John 3:16-18 – The Outworking of Love
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 – The Cheerful Giver
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

Hebrews 13:16
16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

“Heart” = Will, Wisdom, Affection, Love, Moral Character and Determination

heart-lev

The heart is the place of your physical and spiritual being and represents the “central wisdom of feeling as opposed to the head-wisdom of reason” (Cooper, 82). It is compassion and understanding, life-giving and complex. It is a symbol for love. Often known as the seat of emotions, the heart is synonymous with affection.

What kind of heart does God want?

Deuteronomy 10:16 says “God needs a circumcised heart”. Therefore, we must open our hearts to God by removing all unbelief, reservations, coverings and rebellion. Only when we circumcise our hearts, can we be obedient and walk in the ways of the Lord.

king-solomon

Solomon Asked for a Heart of Wisdom to Discern Between Good and EVIL:

1 Kings 3 – Solomon Requests Wisdom
3 Now Solomon made a treaty with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and married Pharaoh’s daughter; then he brought her to the City of David until he had finished building his own house, and the house of the Lord, and the wall all around Jerusalem. 2 Meanwhile the people sacrificed at the high places, because there was no house built for the name of the Lord until those days. 3 And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.

4 Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”

6 And Solomon said: “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. 7 Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. 8 And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. 9 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

10 The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. 11 Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, 12 behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. 13 And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days. 14 So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”

15 Then Solomon awoke; and indeed it had been a dream. And he came to Jerusalem and stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, offered up burnt offerings, offered peace offerings, and made a feast for all his servants.

“Herb” = Food, Nourishment, Healing, Correction

herbs-types

An “Herb” is a form of Food. God made “Herbs” for nourishing and healing the body… BOTH physically AND Spiritually. In the Spiritual sense, Herbs provide healing AND correction. For example, correction about negative things to remove from our lives.

God made herbs to have AMAZING nutritional and healing properties.

Read this whole article to learn more about herbs.

Here is the definition of an “Herb”:

Herb
1. A plant or vegetable with a soft or succulent stalk or stem, which dies to the root every year, and is thus distinguished from a tree and a shrub, which have ligneous or hard woody stems. (Source: Webster’s American Dictionary, 1828.)

Here is what God says about herbs in the Bible:

Genesis 1:29
And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Genesis 1:30
“I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

Herbs during the Passover:

During the “Passover”, why did God tell Moses to have the people sacrifice the Passover lamb and ALSO eat unleavened bread AND bitter herbs.

  • The lamb is symbolic of Jesus. God sent Jesus to reveal and testify to God’s Holy Words. So, we are to Learn, Teach and Do the Ways of these Holy Words.
  • The unleavened bread is symbolic of removing sin from your life.
  • The bitter herbs are “Food” for nourishing and healing the body… BOTH physically AND Spiritually. They’re “Bitter” because sometimes we DO NOT WANT TO HEAR the instruction on what sin to remove from our lives! Sometimes it’s a process to see this sin and fully eliminate it.

The smallest seed from the Mustard Herb grows into enormous Trees:

Matthew 13:31-32 – The Parable of the Mustard Seed
31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”

The Top 14 Herbs in the Bible

By Joshua Lette

herbs-14

Here in this vividly poetic excerpt from the Songs of Solomon (a love story between Jesus, the God of Israel, and his chosen nation of priests – the Israelites) we get an idea of the wide variety of fruits and herbs that were sought after and valuable:

Song of Songs 4:12-15
A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,

Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:

A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.

People have been using herbs for thousands of years because of their culinary and medicinal benefits. I’ve listed out some of the most popular herbs of the Bible, and what they were traditionally used for. Hopefully, you can pick up a tip or two on how to incorporate these Biblical herbs into your diet today.

1. Aloes

herb-aloe

Numbers 24:6
As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of like aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

The Aloe vera plant has been used for thousands of years to heal a variety of conditions, most notably burns, wounds, skin irritations, and constipation. Aloe was also used to embalm the dead, as well as for perfume.

Aloe is also used in many ways including treating burns, sunburns, healing bruises and rashes, moisturize skin, fight athletes foot, prevent scarring and stretch marks, speed up hair growth, and many more.

2. Anise

herb-anise

Matthew 23:23
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

All parts of the anise plant were used during Biblical times. The seeds, leaves and stem were used to cool high temperatures, as well as for other medicinal purposes.

Anise can also be used to help with digestion and can be used as an anti-flatulence agent, a relief aid for coughs and colds and also can help with insomnia. Usually taken by crushing the seeds into a tea.

3. Balm

herb-balm

Jeremiah 8:22
Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Balm refers to an extremely fragrant substance that was extracted from the balsam tree. In Biblical times, balsam was considered extremely valuable. Its gum was used as incense, while the oil that came from the bark, the leaves and the berries worked well as medicine.

4. Bitter Herbs

herb-bitter

Exodus 12:8
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

Bitter herbs are a collective term used for lettuce, horehound, tansy, horseradish, endive and coriander seeds. Bitter herbs were mostly used for food. In fact, the people of Israel were commanded to have bitter herbs with their Passover lamb.

They can also be used to help with urinary tract infections, kidney stones, fluid retention, achy joints and gout.

5. Cassia

herb-cassia

Ezekiel 27:19
Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

Cassia oil was popularly used as anointing oil during Biblical times. Cassia has aromatic properties quite similar to cinnamon.

Cassia can also be used as natural hair care, coloring and conditioning. The leaves are harvested, dried, and ground into a powder used for natural hair care.

6. Cinnamon

herb-cinnamon

Exodus 30:23
Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

Cinnamon, once considered more precious than gold, has some amazing medicinal benefits. The bark, where the oil comes from, was traditionally collected for anointing oil, as well as perfume.

Cinnamon can also be used for athlete’s foot, indigestion, improve brain function, helps lower blood glucose levels, among many others.

7. Cumin

herb-cumin

Isaiah 28:25
When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

The ancient Israelites took cumin seeds, dried them, and used them to flavor their food.

Cumin can also help with digestion, cardiovascular disease, urinary disorders, and fever.

8. Frankincense

herb-frankincense

Exodus 30:34
And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:

Most popularly known for incense, Frankincense was used during ceremonial offerings and considered an article of luxury.

It can also be used as an analgesic, antidepressant and sedative, in addition to being a powerful healing herb. Frankincense is also a primary ingredient in stress-reducing incenses.

9. Garlic

herb-garlic

Numbers 11:5
We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

Garlic has been used as both food and medicine in many cultures for thousands of years, dating back to when the Egyptian pyramids were built.

Garlic is also used to help prevent heart disease, including atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries (plaque buildup in the arteries that can block the flow of blood and may lead to heart attack or stroke), high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and to boost the immune system. Garlic may also help protect against cancer.

10. Hyssop

herb-hyssop

1 Kings 4:33
And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

Hyssop is a sweet smelling plant from the mint family. It is used in many ceremonial rituals of the Israelites, as burning hyssop typically meant an inner cleansing.

11. Mint

herb-mint

Luke 11:42
But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Mint has been used for thousands of years as a culinary herb and for medicine.

Mint can also help with stomach aches, poor digestion, fever, hiccups, ear aches and sinuses.

12. Mustard

herb-mustard

Luke 17:6
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

One of Jesus’ most famous parables was about the mustard seed. This may be because mustard grew so abundantly in Palestine.

Mustard can also be used for soar throats, muscle and back relaxing, and as a hair conditioner to treat damaged hair.

13. Myrrh

herb-myrrh

Proverbs 7:17
I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

In Biblical times, it was sold as a spice or an ingredient of the anointing oil used in the Tabernacle, or as a salve for the purification of the dead. In the Roman world, it was considered a natural remedy for almost every human affliction, from earaches to hemorrhoids.

Myrrh can also be used as a cleansing agent, and to help with ulcerated throats and mouth sores.

14. Saffron

herb-saffron

Song of Songs 4:14
Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:

The most expensive spice in the world today was also very dear during ancient times. Because of its distinct yellow color, saffron was used not only for flavoring but to make ancient dyes as well. Ancient peoples used saffron to treat stomach upsets, bubonic plague, and smallpox.

Today, recent studies have indicated possible health benefits, including cancer-inhibiting properties, aiding in allergies, help combat depression, and promote a feeling of fullness (in terms of diet).

Don’t forget to eat your herbs!  🙂

“Hold” = To Acquire, Take, Obtain, Contain, Receive, Keep, Maintain

hold-sword

Definition of hold & hol’-ding:

Occurs with various shades of meaning:

(1) as the translation of tamakh, “to acquire,” it has the sense of taking, obtaining (Isaiah 33:15, the Revised Version (British and American) “that shaketh his hands from taking a bribe,” the English Revised Version, as the King James Version, “holding“);

(2) of kul, “to hold,” “contain,” having the sense of containing or restraining (Jeremiah 6:11, “I am weary with holding in”);

(3) of krateo, “to receive,” “observe,” “maintain” (Mark 7:3, “holding the tradition of the elders”; 1 Timothy 1:19, echo, “holding faith and a good conscience”; 1 Timothy 3:9, “holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience”);

(4) holding fast, cleaving to, krateo (Colossians 2:19, “not holding the head,” the Revised Version (British and American) “holding fast“; compare Acts 3:11; Revelation 7:1, “holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow”); antechomai, “to hold over against one’s self,” “to hold fast” (Titus 1:9, the Revised Version (British and American) “holding to the faithful word“);

(5) holding forth, epecho, “to hold upon, to hold out toward” (Philippians 2:16, “holding forth the word of life,” so the Revised Version (British and American)); Lightfoot has “holding out” (as offering); others, however, render “holding fast,” persevering in the Christian faith and life–connecting with being “blameless and harmless” in Philippians 2:15. (Source: W. L. Walker)

Action Steps:

  • Hold (Receive, Keep & Maintain) God’s Holy Words and the Knowledge of Truth.
  • Hold (Contain) the enemy to keep him from re-gaining new ground.
  • Hold (Take, Keep & Maintain) new land/earth. Go into the “Promised Land“, take it, keep it and maintain it.

Verses Related to “Hold” and “Holding”:

Mark 3:20-27 – A House Divided Cannot Stand
20 Then the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. 21 But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”

22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebub,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.”

23 So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. 27 No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.

Revelation 3:7-13 – The Faithful Church
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Revelation 20:2
He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

“House” = Storehouse for God’s Holy Words, the Knowledge of Truth and the Holy Spirit

In the Bible, a “House” is a “Storehouse” for God’s Holy Words, the Knowledge of Truth and the Holy Spirit. Your “House” or “Storehouse” is your Body which is to be filled with these things.

house-white

A “House” is also:

  • A family of ancestors; descendants and kindred; a race of persons from the same stock; a tribe. It particularly denotes a noble family or an illustrious race; as the house of Austria; the house of Hanover. So in Scripture, the house of Israel,or of Judah.
  • One of the estates of a kingdom assembled in parliament or legislature; a body of men united in their legislative capacity, and holding their place by right or by election. Thus we say, the house of lords or peers of Great Britain; the house of commons; the house of representatives. In most of the United States, the legislatures consist of two houses, the senate, and the house of representatives or delegates.
  • The quorum of a legislative body; the number of representatives assembled who are constitutionally empowered to enact laws. Hence we say, there is a sufficient number of representatives present to form a house.
  • In Scripture, those who dwell in a house and compose a family; a household. (Source)

Is your “Storehouse” filled with God’s Holy Words, the Knowledge of Truth and the Holy Spirit?

bible-lamp-table

The Lord wants everybody to understand the Knowledge of Truth.

If we do not teach this, and fill the people’s “Storehouses” (Bodies) then we will be in trouble and judged (perhaps harshly) for not doing our job.

Here are some scriptures which illustrate this:

John 8:43-47
Why do you not understand My speech? He who is of God hears God’s words.

Zechariah 10:3
My anger is kindled against the shepherds, And I will punish the goatherds.

NOTICE:
The flocks are considered to be in satan’s “Goatherd” instead of the Lord’s flock of sheep. Why? Because the Lord wants them to know the Knowledge of Truth.

Romans 1:18-25
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

NOTICE:
Unless Shepherds provide sermons and Bible studies which teach the Knowledge of Truth, then they’re blocking it which is a willful sin (and there is a price to pay).

Matthew 7:21-23
‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

Revelation 18:4
Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

Malachi 3:10 – Do Not Rob God
8 “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.
9 You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.

Says the Lord of hosts;
12 “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

Luke 21:34-36
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

Genesis 41:56
The famine was over all the face of the earth, and Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold to the Egyptians. And the famine became severe in the land of Egypt.

Action Steps:

  • Learn the 153 Words of God;
  • Teach them to your children, flock and others;
  • Do the Ways of the Words of God to overcome evil and bring forth God’s Kingdom of Heaven.

“Incense” = Prayer and Good Works Rising Up to Heaven, and Smell (Your Sweet Smell or Foul Smell to God)

What does incense symbolize?

The smoke of burning incense is a symbol of the prayers of the faithful rising up to heaven. It is also a symbol of our Good Works (or EVIL works) rising up to God in Heaven.

incense-smoke-rainbow

About God’s Incense:

Once a year, on the Day of Atonement (aka “Yom Kippur“), coals from the altar were taken in a censer (a “fire holder”), along with two handfuls of incense, into the Holy of Holies, where the incense would smoke before the mercy seat of the ark of the testimony (Leviticus 16:12-13).

It was offered along with every meat-offering (see God’s Holy Word Food|Meat); and was offered daily on the golden altar in the holy place, and on the great day of atonement (aka “Yom Kippur”) was burnt by the high priest in the holy of holies ( Exodus 30:7-8 ). It was the symbol of prayer ( Psalms 141:1-2 ; Revelation 5:8 ; Revelation 8:3-4 ).

What is incense made of?

Incense is made of many different ingredients for many different aromas and purposes.

God gave Moses the ingredients of the formula of incense He wants.

The ingredients are detailed in Exodus 30:34, where Moses is tasked with making incense: Take sweet spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, and pure frankincense with these sweet spices; there shall be equal amounts of each. Click here for more information about the formula.

What does God really want?

God wants us to give Mercy to others and to learn (and teach, and do the ways of) the Knowledge of God more than sacrifices. See Hosea 6:6:

Hosea 6:6
For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Be aware that sacrifices such as “Meat Offerings” and “Grain Offerings” include symbolism and were given to a sinful, “stiff-necked” people by God. Why did He do this? To teach them how to do the Ways of God’s Holy Words and Ways while maintaining their Salvation. God is Spirit (John 4:24) and He wants us to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. God wants us to Learn, Teach and Do the Ways of Spiritual “Food & Meat” and “Grain.

Jesus as the Sacrifice and “Sweet Smell” of Incense:

Jesus’ sacrifice for us is the “Sweet Smell” to God. See Ephesians 5:2:

Ephesians 5:2
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Jesus Christ who is the “Word of God” (Revelation 19:13) was sent by God to reveal and testify to God’s Holy Words (see Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 18:37, Psalm 119:160, John 17:17-19, John 6:68, Luke 24:44-45, John 21:11 & John 8:42-47).

We are to Learn, Teach and Do the Ways of God’s Holy Words to bring forth the Kingdom of Heaven and to overcome EVIL in the world.

Revelation 18:1-5 – The Fall of Babylon the Great
18 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

Then the world will mourn Babylon’s fall…
