Your Words are Powerful

God’s Words are Powerful… and your words are powerful too!

For example, have you ever seen your prayers happen? Prayers are powerful because you are asking God to help you. And, He does!

There are ways to make your words even more powerful.

For example, you can get multiple people praying for someone who is in need of something and this will make the power of your prayers even stronger. Why? Because of God’s Law in Matthew 18:16 that by the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses, every word may be established. Can you imagine the power that a group of people, a city or even a whole nation praying would have? Now that’s powerful!  🙂

God is ready for you to take the power of your words up to the next level.

He wants you to know and use His Holy Words which contain greater promises and blessings from God. These Words are the most powerful Words, because they are God’s Words. Why not use them to make the world around you a better place?

This blog has many examples of how to use God’s Words to accomplish things for the God’s Kingdom.

Jesus Sent to Earth to Bear Witness to God’s “Supernatural” Words

Jesus showed us examples of the power of God’s Words.

God told Moses He would send a Prophet (who is Jesus) to the World to bear witness to His Words and we are required to learn them (see Deuteronomy 18:18-19 & Acts 3:22-23).

Jesus did many miracles like healing the blind man:

Jesus even testified to Roman Pontius Pilate that this is exactly why He was Sent to Earth… to bear witness to Truth (John 18:37). “Truth” = God’s “Supernatural” Words (see Psalm 119:160 & John 17:17-19).

Then they crucified Jesus (who is the Word of God – See Revelation 19:13).

God made all Creation with His spoken Word. Jesus did His miracles by using the Ways of God’s Holy Words and Holy Spirit.  The Words of our King are Powerful! (Ecclesiastes 8:4)  🙂

The “Word” that the Lord speaks of is not only about reading (and teaching) the whole Bible. Surely we are to do that. But, He is speaking of the knowing the meanings of His messages in His Parables, Sayings and Words so we hear, understand and follow His “Voice” and His “Way”. Jesus said “My sheep hear my voice ” (John 10:27) and He was speaking of understanding the “symbolism” in His speech.

He wants us to know what He means when He speaks His Holy Words like:

Blood, Bread, Flesh, Food, Fruit, Gather, Milk, Mountain, Oil, Seed, Stand, Table, Truth, Vine, Voice, Walk, Wash, Way, Wine, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19 (KJV)
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

John 18:37
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

John 17:17-19
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Acts 3:22-23
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
