The blast of the Trumpet or Shofar means:
- “Judgment” and/or;
- “Alarm” (Warning) and also…
- Victory over hell and EVIL!
Examples:
- When the walls of Jericho fell (Joshua 6:1-27);
- The Trumpet Judgments (Revelation 8:2));
- Etc.
Use a Ram’s Horn as our Trumpet.
The ram was the substitute sacrifice so that Isaac would NOT have to die. It represents the male lamb of God (Jesus / Yeshua) who takes away the sin of the world. Use a Yemenite shofar from African Kudu OR an actual ram’s horn. Scripture says to use the ram’s horn.
The Power of the Trumpet (Shofar):
“Every time I hear the sound of the shofar I remember the sacrifice of my Son, and I hear His shout of Mercy for My people. I hear His prayers and listen to the perfect sacrifice through which you are atoned. It is a beautiful sound. It is the cry of the Lamb’s atonement for the people who are bound and are fallen. I saved you and every time the shofar is sounded, the Heavens listen to the sound of my Salvation. It is the shout of victory of war that is won, a battle overcome. It is the worship of the victor. Sound your shofar because hell does not like it. My warriors shout with the shofar. It is a war cry that hell hates.”
Blow the Trumpet to Win the Battle!
“When you arrive in your own land and go to war against your enemies who attack you, sound the alarm with the trumpets. Then the Lord your God will remember you and rescue you from your enemies. (Numbers 10:9-10)
Demons SCATTER when the Shofar is Sounded.
It makes them afraid and terrified and confused. Ha ha! 🙂
“Abide in My war order and sound the shofar because Heaven loves the sound of the Savior. Whenever the enemy comes against you with his attempts to attack and destroy you, remind hell through the blast of the shofar that the walls have fallen and he is destroyed and defeated, and I am the one who wears the Victor’s Crown.”
The President is Donald Trump. The “Trump Card” is the LAST card you play at the END of a game of bridge. In the “End Times” (which is right now!) the Seven Angels sound the Seven Trumpets. This is in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 8:2) and the Seven Trumpets are Seven Judgments! We are to come out from following this Harlot system (see Revelation 18 “Come OUT of her my people” & “Vessel“) and build God’s Kingdom on Earth!

The Sound of the Trumpets

As I read my bible this morning the particular word, “trumpets”, stood out to me. The particular scripture I was reading was in Numbers 10:9-10:
“When you arrive in your own land and go to war against your enemies who attack you, sound the alarm with the trumpets. Then the Lord your God will remember you and rescue you from your enemies. Blow the trumpets in times of gladness, too, sounding them at your annual festivals and at the beginning of each month. And blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and peace offerings. The trumpets will remind the Lord your God of his covenant with you. I am the Lord your God.”
This led me on a little study. I found that the trumpets sounded for many different reasons. It wasn’t only the sound, but the way it sounded. Sometimes, it was a short blast, sometimes long, sometimes quiet and sometime loud! At times it was very long and very loud. And it would always elicit a response from the hearers.
In Exodus it was used to call the people to the mountain to hear from God. One long sound was used to call the people to come; a second one was to bring the people to attention as God was going to speak. This brought much fear and trembling upon the people. God was certainly using this means to get their awareness that He was certainly God!
In Judges the trumpet blast was used to draw the people together to invade the enemy’s camp, then again used to strike fear in the camp they were invading and to catch these people off guard. In this instance it was the sound of the trumpets along with the light from handmade lanterns that so frightened the enemies of God’s people, they all abandoned their camp and ran! You find this fascinating story in Judges 7:16-18. And of course, God’s people won this invasion!
A trumpet sound was used to remind the people of Gods covenant promise as you find in Numbers 10:9-10. The sound of the trumpet was a declaration to go to war, with the promise that God would save His people from their enemies. It is found in many books of the bible; Exodus, Joshua, Judges, Nehemiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah are just a few.
The trumpet horn was used to awaken the people as well, to arouse them to get moving. In Joshua the trumpet blast caused a wall to come down in Jericho and disintegrate! I found in many places it was used to declare victory before it even happened! I like that!
This practice wasn’t always associated with war, however. Trumpets were blown for a time of celebration, such as when the people gathered together during a feast time. In Isaiah, the trumpet sound was used to assemble people to fast and pray. It was used in Joel as a warning, “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sound an alarm in my holy mountain…” (See the “Sacred Assembly” of Joel 2:12-20) In the book of Psalms you will find the trumpet sounded to praise and worship God.
So you can see that the sound of the trumpet had much significance to the children of Israel from this little study. And how does this concern us now? Or does it? Let’s look at what Jesus said about the sound of a trumpet. First off in Matthew 6:2, He taught to the multitudes to not sound the trumpet when they did a charitable deed, like the hypocrites did. I wonder if this is where the saying comes from, “Don’t toot your own horn”?
On a more serious note, the second place we see the trumpet sound in the New Testament is in Matthew 24:29-31; “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” And then again in 1 Corinthian’s 15:52, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 declares, ”For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
In the book of Revelation, the Lords voice is likened to a trumpet sound as He spoke.
So my thought today is, what does this all mean? Are we ready for the trumpet blast from Heaven announcing Christ’s return? Are we comforting each other with these words as we are told to in the Bible? The Word of God says we won’t know the day or the hour and the time will come like a thief in the night. Are you ready? Are you prepared for what is up ahead? Are you assured you will go to Heaven should the trumpet blast come right now? It’s certainly something to think about.
I had a little mini-vision today before I wrote this, as I was thinking about the trumpet sounding. I saw a long line of people from one end to the other as far as I could see in the Heavens, with trumpets in their hands. They were just waiting for the final call to blow their trumpets! Everyone had one. What I sensed was a great excitement as they anticipate the blowing of their trumpets and waiting for the believers on earth to join them in Heaven! This is what led me to this study and to write this blog.
If you are not assured you will be going to Heaven, look at Romans 10:9-13, it says…”If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Please, make the decision today to make Jesus your Lord and Savior. Believe, confess and receive the forgiveness of your sins and be washed clean by the blood of Jesus! It’s as simple as that. Let me know of your decision.
