There are special promises within the Word “Gather“. It has instruction within it and there is a purpose for gathering.
The people in Paradise (“Heaven”) are known to Gather to learn God’s Holy Words.
A “Gathering” is an “Assembly”.
We are NOW in the “Day of the Lord“. (Zech 14:7) Also called the “End Times” “The Great Tribulation” etc. In several places within the scriptures it says we are to Gather at this time.
When God calls you to go a place, you’re going to get there (maybe supernaturally if needed) God will usually TEST the people He calls to gather to teach them knowledge, an important lesson, etc. Pay attention to what He’s teaching you. Ask Him what He wants you to learn and walk humbly when you Gather. (Micah 6:8)
Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
His intent with having us Gather is to teach us Knowledge… to Increase our Knowledge.
Why?
Because we are destroyed due to a lack of Knowledge (Hosea 4:6) and He does NOT want that to happen to you. He says this Gathering and gaining knowledge is especially important NOW in the “Time of the End” because we are no longer forgiven easily for willful sin. We will be held accountable because we’re in the testing time of the Judgments. As Paul says in Hebrews 10:24 we are to Gather together and stir up love and good works for one other.
What to DO When We Gather:
- Learn His Words
- Learn your Name / Work for God’s Kingdom
- Get the Spirit of Truth in you
- Do good Works for others
- Everyone has something to add to His Kingdom (everyone has a Work)
- Overcome the Beast Kingdom so there are NO BEAST Kingdoms during the Millennium.
- We must Gather to understand/learn what OUR Work is for the Kingdom and find out what our piece of the puzzle is. If we gather, He will make it known to us.
- NOTHING will be lacking. People will be healed. Etc.
When Should We Gather?
The Lord says He will gather us when He calls out His Word “Truth” (Isaiah 43:9)
(Notice that He is already doing this by pouring out His Holy Spirit upon us. People all over the Face of the Earth are now Gathering, exchanging information, teaching, learning, doing the Ways of His Words, and now knowledge is increasing rapidly!) 🙂
Isaiah 43:9
Let all the nations be gathered together, And let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this, And show us former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; Or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”
At this time, we are required to bring His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. It comes by His Words because He does all His Works in Truth… and His Truth is His Words. Therefore, we have to receive the Words of God so we can Speak and Do His Words to bring forth His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. We will receive eternal life because once you’re in the Kingdom it NEVER departs from you! (John 5:24)
John 5:24
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
ACTION STEP:
So, Gather properly by hearing, believing, learning and doing the Ways of His Words of Truth.
John 15:7
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
People of a pure mind who desire His Kingdom to come on Earth as it is in Heaven (where we all do Good for others) will be able to Think and it will be done for you. (God will do it) This is of God and in the scriptures, but we have to grow in Knowledge and Understanding to get to that point. This is what the Word “Gather” is about.
Moses Knows God’s Words
Moses was the leader of the nation of Israel. Moses was the one who saw God face-to-face. He was hearing the teachings of the Words of God because God was teaching him. Moses had the Words of God in him and that is testified to by the fact that his Face shined. Moses’ face shined with Light! (Light = His Holy Words Psalm 119:130)
Moses was set up outside of the Israelite’s camp in the tent of meeting. So, he was separated from the people who were rejecting the knowledge of the Words. Moses was teaching them the Words of God, but his followers rejected the knowledge of the Words of God and did not regard them as being important or valuable. But, Moses understood that the Words are the Key to everything!
God’s Words make everything!!!
Moses records this in the Book of Genesis and so on! All the Power and Authority are in the Words and the Ways of using the Words. Moses knew that the Words of God are being taught in Paradise (2 Corinthians 12:1-4) where those people are being refined with knowledge of God and how to do Good Works for others. But the people do not want to seek out that knowledge and understand it!
The Words UNLOCK the real
meaning that is hidden within the Bible!
The Bible is a teaching tool.
It teaches us the Ways of His Words.
The Whole Bible is About Doing
the Ways of God’s Holy Words!
(Example: Jesus washing their feet, etc.)
What we are to do in this Day with the Word “Gather”. See Joel 1:14 and Joel 2:12-20 >>>
Joel 1:14
Consecrate a fast,
Call a sacred assembly;
Gather the elders
And all the inhabitants of the land
Into the house of the Lord your God,
And cry out to the Lord.Joel 2:12-20 – A Call to Repentance
12 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
14 Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him—A grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God?15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly;
16 Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.
17 Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”The Land Refreshed
18 Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.
19 The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.
20 “But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.”

We are sanctified by the Truth and the Truth is the Word of God.
We are sanctified by God’s 153 Holy Words that are unlawful for the World to speak.
We are sanctified/set-apart from the World by these same Words that Jesus we sent into the World to bear witness to. (See John 3:34, Deu 18:18-19, John 18:37 & John 17:17-19)
John 3:34 – God Send Jesus to Speak the Words of God
34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.
Deuteronomy 18:18-19 – God tells Moses He will send a Prophet (Jesus) with God’s Words
18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.
John 18:37
37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
John 17:17-19
17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
What does it mean to “Consecrate a Fast?”
What exactly are we supposed to DO?
Then the Lord is saying to “Consecrate a Fast” He is telling us to do Good for others.
How do you do Good for others? The only Way to “Do Good” (because only the Father is Good as Jesus said in Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19) – it means to get the knowledge of the 153 Words of God to enable the Good Works of the Father that do all things including overcoming the World… and that includes overcoming this 5th Beast Kingdom and its World Armies (that want to KILL us)!
We can see from Joel 16 that we are to “Consecrate a Fast” to “Sanctify the Congregation” so we can be set apart from the World. How are we Sanctified and set-apart? By learning, teaching and doing (the Ways of) His Holy Words! (See John 17:17-19). We are set-apart/sanctified by His Holy Words!
