“Number” means to give attributes to atoms, elements, events, particles or Creations (things)…
- by measure
- by appointed time
- by what appointment of power (For example: frequency, energy, word)
- by position (where it is located)
Numbers in the Bible:
The Lord demands for us to number our days as Moses instructed us in Psalm 90:12.
Psalm 90:12
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
That means we are to number and measure out our days in all aspects.
How to “Number Your Days”:
For example, for each of the 7 days of the week you can Do the Way of the corresponding Spirit associated with that day. This is How to “Number Your Days” of the Week:
- Day 1 – 1st Spirit (The Spirit of the Lord – Spread the Good News about Jesus to an unbeliever)
- Day 2 – 2nd Spirit (The Spirit of Wisdom – Teach someone the Holy Words of God)
- Day 3 – 3rd Spirit (The Spirit of Understanding – Do a Good Work for someone/place)
- Day 4 – 4th Spirit (The Spirit of Counsel – Give someone Wise Counsel)
- Day 5 – 5th Spirit (The Spirit of Might – Use the Law of God to do a Good Work. Influence the Government)
- Day 6 – 6th Spirit (The Spirit of Knowledge – Give someone Knowledge.)
- Day 7 – 7th Spirit (The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord – Expand God’s Kingdom and/or overcome evil through Good Works)
You can also do this by the Day of the Month too if you know that God’s Numbers 1 through 31 are.
NOTICE:
For Instruction, listen to what the Lord tells you in the Morning and/or when you ask Him. Pay close attention to the “Signs” that God is showing you while you go throughout your day. For example, He may place certain events, people, numbers, etc. in your day.
He may even show you “Signs” by what people say to you, the phone calls you receive and even the license plate numbers and bumper stickers on vehicles you see during the day. God Works in amazing Ways!!! 🙂
If we will do this Moses says that we have the Promise of God that He will cause our heart to be filled with wisdom – the Words of Wisdom that are the set apart Holy Words of God that when Communicated to Him enables His Greater Promises of Good Works to be released to do what we desire and that is asked within His Will (See John 15:7 and 1 John 5:14-15). If we pay attention to the following verses we will see that God has planned each day for us. It is our job to be thirsty to receive the dew of His blessing of His Word of Knowledge poured out each morning like grass.
Isaiah 40:26
26 Lift up your eyes on high,
And see who has created these things,
Who brings out their host by number;
He calls them all by name,
By the greatness of His might
And the strength of His power;
Not one is missing.
NOTICE:
The meaning of “Name” within the Bible is “the work for the Kingdom of God that something is given to do”. And this work of the things in the Creation includes the assigned work that they are to do in all of the Times of God’s Plan, from beginning to end for every single particle.
Psalm 139:13-16
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
Jeremiah 1:4-5
4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
NOTICE:
In John 17:17 we are taught by the Lord that we are sanctified by being set apart from the world by the entrance of the Words of God in our heart. And this statement of the Lord in Jeremiah 1:5 is verified by both Isaiah 51:16 and Psalm 139:15-16.
Isaiah 51:16
16 “And I have put My Words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My Hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’ ”
Numbers (in the Bible):
We must remember that the Lord utilizes numbers with in the Bible as a double testimony of the Good Works that He is revealing to us within the works He makes known to us.
Action Steps:
- So, Go and Number your days and see what God reveals to you.
- Listen to what the Lord tells you in the Morning, during the day and/or when you ask Him.
- Go and do what He wants you to do. His yoke is Light!
- Pay close attention to the “Signs” that God is showing you while you Go.
