I have some “Supernatural” Good News for you today. See below…
153 Fish? What?
Why not “a few fish” or “a multitude of fish” instead of the specific 153 number? It’s because the number 153 is a unique number – it’s the number of the eternal plan of God in the Words of God. Jesus IS the Word of God (Rev 19:13) and we get eternal life through Him. He wants us to know His Holy Words so we hear His voice. Amen? 🙂
Then later in John 21 Jesus said 3 times – feed my lambs/sheep. 3 times? Yes… 3 TIMES, so He was (and is) serious about this!
We are to learn (and teach) the Words, parables and symbolism in the Holy Bible such as these…
* Bread (Bread from Heaven – Instruction from God – see John 6:22-35 )
* Fish – (Jesus, God’s Holy Words which contain “Supernatural” power)
* Foundation (Build our homes on a firm foundation which is Jesus / the Word of God)
* Mountain (Mt Zion – The Firmament)
* Oil (Knowledge from God)
* Rock (Jesus is our “Rock”)
Here are 3 simple examples of His Words which contain greater promises/blessings (“Supernatural”):
Why did Jesus “Break Bread” with people? The answer to that is in John 6:22-35 – it’s the “Bread from Heaven” which is INSTRUCTION from God who is in Heaven. Breaking bread shows God we want instruction from His Holy Spirit. It’s the Supernatural “Bread” from Heaven! 🙂
Why did Jesus eat fish with people? Why do we use the ><> fish symbol? Fish are symbolic of Jesus, and He is the Word of God (Revelation 19:13). There were 153 Great Fish caught in John 21:11 and the number “153” is the number of the eternal plan of God in the Words of God. God made all His creation with His Words – they’re “Supernatural”. Do you want know the words of eternal life? (see John 6:68)
Why did Jesus go to the Mount of Olives (Mountain of Olives) and pray to God? Because going to the mountain is symbolic of going to the mountain called “Mt Zion” (which is the “Firmament” – see Genesis 1) upon which God sits on top of. Olives are pressed to extract the oil from them and olive oil is symbolic of KNOWLEDGE. So, when Jesus prayed at the Mount of Olives, He was ASKING God for Knowledge. You can go to the mountain and pray or break bread and dip it in olive oil and then eat it. When God pours out His Spirit upon you and gives you knowledge, that’s “Supernatural” wouldn’t you agree?
Proverbs 1:23 (NKJV)
23 Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
I hope you enjoy this information.
